Ardingly College is seeking to recruit an experienced Gardener responsible for maintaining gardens and horticultural areas to a high standard throughout Ardingly College and Great Walstead School.

The post requires a particular emphasis on horticultural maintenance and candidates should have a strong background in gardening and horticulture with associated knowledge and experience. The successful candidate will be working alongside other department members. 

Hours of work

This is a full-time, year-round role. Hours are 40 hours per week. Standard working pattern will be 7.00am to 3.30pm (inclusive of a 30-minute paid lunch break and a 30-minute unpaid break.) There is a need for members of the team to be on a rota to undertake work on Saturdays, which equates to approximately 9 Saturday mornings per annum.

Salary: £28,553 per annum.
