The successful candidate will work with Yan Jie on Mechanotransduction and mechanomedicine under a project on AI-driven design of protein binders to modulate mechanosensitive cell-cell junctions. The main responsibilities of the position include: Apply AI-driven protein binder generative models to design binders targeting mechanosensitive adherens junction proteins. Apply bioinformatics tools and molecular dynamics (MD) simulations for in silico screening and optimization of the designed binders. Perform biochemical characterization and quantitative analysis of the screened binders.
