Responsibilities If selected at the GS-09 level, duties will be performed in a developmental capacity Manages and ensures the readiness of all vehicles and support equipment, using the Fleet Management Information System (FLMIS) for dispatching, maintenance scheduling, work order management, and tracking equipment status and usage. Prepares technical specifications and justifications for equipment procurement. Develops long-range acquisition plans, recommends funding priorities, and makes recommendations for the repair, disposal, or procurement of equipment. Serves as the COR for maintenance and repair contracts. Monitors contractor performance, inspects work to ensure compliance with contract specifications, and administers task orders.
