SUMMARY OF DUTIES:
Equipment Operators will operate different kinds of power construction equipment that move, dig, or grade earth. They also operate machines that spread, smooth, or level asphalt and concrete.
 
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

+ Ability to read and understand plans and specifications.

+ Site layout and use of layout instruments.

+ Use of basic hand tools and basic power tools.

+ Ability to Operate basic equipment (forklift, skid loader, rubber tire loader, water pumps, grinders, bobcat attachments, tamps, lifts).

+ Understanding of the various building types and construction methods (steel frame, masonry, pre-cast building, pre-engineered metal building, wood framed building, etc.).

+ Recognizes and properly handles material deliveries to jobsite.

+ Understands and implements safety procedures and practices.
