Summary Corrections professionals who foster a humane and secure environment and ensure public safety by preparing individuals for successful reentry into our communities. Responsibilities Serves as a full-time Equal Employment Opportunity (EEO) Counselor assigned to the EEO Office within the Federal Bureau of Prisons. Conducts constructive counseling interviews and reviews pertinent documents to gather and analyze facts about alleged claims of discrimination. Informs the complainant about federal EEO complaint regulations which offer complainants the option of resolving claims of discrimination through Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR) in lieu of EEO counseling. Conducts settlement negotiations and Alternative Dispute Resolution conferences in an effort to resolve complaints of discrimination.
