**Overview**

Kimley-Horn's Fort Worth office is seeking a Environmental Planner to join our Power Delivery team!

**Responsibilities**

+ Prepare Environmental Quality Act documents, environmental impact reports, and negative and mitigated negative declarations
+ Secures permits, ensures compliance and manages ecological risks for transmission lines and substations.
+ Conducts route analysis for new transmission lines and selecting sites for substations to minimize environmental impact.
+ Perform a variety of tasks, supporting various project managers and collaborating with team members.
+ Environmental clearance associated with local comprehensive plans/local land use planning
+ Develops EMPs (Environmental Management Plans) to manage land disruption, noise, erosion, and vegetation management during construction.
