A degree qualification, ideally in engineering science, mechanical, civil, or aeronautical engineering (2:1/60% or higher or equivalent) but other degree courses with an emphasis on mathematics and modelling will also be considered.
Previous experience in a related consulting role or relevant post‑graduate research.
A strong interest in fluid dynamics and how it impacts the built environment.
A strong interest in numerical, statistical and/or physical modelling.
Responsibilities
Undertake analysis and design on behalf of clients or in collaboration with other teams within Arup.
Use analytical and numerical methods such as CFD and dynamic thermal modelling as well as wind tunnel modelling and other forms of testing to inform the design process.
