The Environmental Health Specialist supports the Health Protection Division by providing expert guidance on environmental health issues through investigation, surveillance, and research. This role serves as a lead consultative resource on complex topics such as health hazard, air quality, exposure assessment, and risk mitigation, while ensuring alignment with the Ontario Public Health Standards. Responsibilities include data analysis, development of risk communication and educational materials, policy development, project management, and stakeholder engagement.
