**Position Overview:**

Supports environmental health and workplace safety programs to maintain and promote a healthy and safe environment for staff, volunteers, patients and visitors that will reduce the financial risks associated with injuries and illnesses. Inspects and surveys areas and activities to minimize potential risks, and investigates incidents. Leads in the development, implementation and maintenance of safety policies and procedures, and provides education and/or training to help staff understand and comply with the requirements of the environmental health & workplace safety programs.
Proven leadership in designing and executing full-scale exercises, drills, and after-action improvement planning, including corrective action tracking and program sustainment.
