Our team helps manage, monitor, and respond to various aspects of environmental and public health. We work to ensure Council meets its statutory obligations in the area of environmental health, primarily through legislation, to deliver high-quality environmental and food safety outcomes for the wider Christchurch community.

• Conducting routine food premises verifications and complaint inspections to assess hygiene and safety standards under the Food Act 2014.
