**Job Description**

**Position Summary**

The Environmental Geographic Information System (GIS) Analyst works within the Center for Environmental Management of Military Lands (CEMML) at CSU. The role is duty stationed in Fort Collins, CO, as part of the US Air Force Environmental GIS project (AFEnvGIS) to serve multiple technical and support functions including: (1) reach back support (RBS) for off-campus GIS Analysts, (2) technical support as required by the Air Force Civil Engineering Center (AFCEC), (3) data development, (4) assistance and support for data maintenance, and (5) Quality Control (QC) and oversight to ensure Data Integrity (DI) for over 100 USAF installations. In some instances, positions may require staff to be fully in-person. In other instances, hybrid arrangements may be possible.

Travel to selected Air Force installations may be required for data collection and development.
