About the role
The Environment Specialist is responsible for designing, provisioning, and maintaining stable, secure, and reliable technology environments across the delivery lifecycle, ensuring they are fit for purpose and free from contention so teams can test and validate changes without risk or disruption. While the role does not handle production deployments or approvals, it plays a key part within the Customer Platforms team by collaborating closely with developers, QA, stakeholders, and technical teams to meet environment needs and support effective delivery.
Key Responsibilities
1. Environment Ownership & Integrity
Own the technical health and stability of all non-production and production environments.
Ensure each environment is used strictly for its defined purpose.
Enforce environment integrity by preventing unauthorised or unplanned changes.
