Fellowship Overview

This is a busy clinical fellowship aimed at senior trainees who have at least six years' experience as a Specialist Registrar (SpR)/Speciality Trainee (StR) or equivalent and hold both the MRCS (or equivalent) and an ENT exit examination (FRCS or national equivalent). This post is also available to candidates who hold a U.K. Certificate of Completion of Training (CCT) or national equivalent.

Responsibilities and Training

The successful candidate will become trained in all aspects of rhinology, advanced endoscopic sinus surgery and rhinoplasty. The candidate will gain exposure to anterior skull base, sinonasal malignancy and extended endoscopic anterior skull base surgery. Significant exposure to external septorhinoplasty is also expected. The successful candidate will have a central role in the preparation and presentation of patients in the Head and Neck Oncology and Skull Base MDT meetings.
