Job Title: Engineering Shift Manager

Salary: £53,000 - £56,000 + contributory pension

Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and proactive Engineering Shift Manager to join a leading food manufacturing business on a permanent basis.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage engineering teams of 10-15 engineers across 2 manufacturing sites
• Work closely with the Head of Engineering and senior leadership team to minimise plant downtime
• Ensure all preventative maintenance activities are completed effectively to avoid production disruption
• Carry out and support both electrical and mechanical reactive and proactive maintenance
• Investigate machinery breakdowns and equipment failures to establish root causes
• Action repairs efficiently and accurately record all maintenance activities to identify recurring faults
