FAE - Mechanical Design Engineer IC Sockets

Responsibilities

• Responsible for the design and validation of products with customer interface
• Work closely with Product Managers and the Engineering GM to research and develop products.
• Provide technical support to the Sales team for inquiries related to products and their applications
• Mechanical design, modeling, and drafting with 2D/3D CAD - SolidWorks
• Validate design by simulation and analysis - tolerance, structural FEA, CFD / thermal.
• Validate design by DOE and actual functional testing
• Work with Production, QA, and parts manufacturing to enhance product design by DFM
• Lead failure analysis of production-related issues from a designer perspective
• Conduct First Article Inspection and certification of NPIs
