Become a Summer Student Fundraiser with the Legion Foundation BC/Yukon this July and August. This full-time, in-person role offers you a unique opportunity to engage with the community and support fundraising efforts for Veterans.
This position is perfect for students looking to make a difference while developing skills in donor engagement, event support, and community relations. Reporting to the Manager of Philanthropy & Legacy Giving, you will play a critical role in enhancing outreach initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
β’ Participate in fundraising activities at events
β’ Solicit donations from local businesses for auctions
β’ Contribute to writing thank-you cards and social media posts
β’ Foster communications with donors and the community
β’ Work collaboratively with a passionate team on projects
Requirements:
β’ Valid Driverβs License and transportation needed
β’ Flexible working hours, including evenings
