This position focuses on operational meteorology, delivering highly accurate forecasts to energy market clients within a fast-paced trading environment.Perform detailed analysis of global weather model data to produce precise forecasts for wind and solar generation, as well as precipitation and temperature, across multiple European regions, covering timescales from day-ahead to seasonal outlooks.Communicate forecasts clearly and promptly, both verbally and in writing, to internal stakeholders such as traders and analysts.Analyse atmospheric and climate datasets, contributing to research and development initiatives on the meteorology desk using strong programming capabilities.
