Job Description

TeamHealth is currently seeking an emergency medicine (EM) physician to join our team at the Baptist Health System in Montgomery, Alabama. As an EM physician, you will provide high-quality medical care to patients who require emergency treatment. You will work in a fast-paced environment and be responsible for diagnosing and treating a wide range of acute illnesses and injuries. Responsibilities:

Perform physical examinations, order and interpret diagnostic tests, and diagnose and treat illnesses and injuries

Prescribe medications and treatments as needed

Consult with specialists and refer patients for further care when necessary

Provide timely and accurate documentation of patient care in the electronic medical record system

Participate in quality improvement and patient safety initiatives
