An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Emergency Nurse Practitioner within the A&E / Inpatient Services department based at Mid Argyll Hospital. The ENP service operates 24 hours a day, working closely with the local GPs who provide medical cover to the hospital and community.
You should have the ability to act as the Senior Nurse for the A&E department and also for the hospital in the out of hours period and in the absence of the Senior Charge Nurse. Excellent communication, prioritising and decision making skills are essential. The ENP must ensure safe and effective clinical practice, manage and develop the performance of the team and contribute to the delivery of the organisation's objectives.
