The role of the Sr. Physician Assistant within the Department of Emergency Medical is to provide independent, advanced level Sr. Physician Assistant clinical operations to Emergency Medical patients as well as their families. This includes the management of chronic or stable medical conditions, routine care, acute or critical care, while following specialty protocols as defined by standardized procedures. This may include non-invasive or invasive procedures including surgical procedures. Including operative first assist per approved standardized procedure for your specific department. This position has clinical responsibilities in both outpatient and in-patient environments as well as pre and post op coordination and management.
