Performs direct patient care including assessment, evaluation, and basic life support according to the goals of Mercy Health System, the philosophy of the Sisters of Mercy, Standard of Care, and Employee Code of Conduct. 24 hours per week

Licensure: EMT license for the state where employed, valid drivers license.
Experience : Applicants must be at least 19 years of age to operate Mercy EMS vehicles.
Certifications/Registration: Hazmat Awareness, BLS for Healthcare Providers, NIMS 100, 200, 700 and 800 within 90 days of hire.
Other: May be required to work differing shifts and schedules.
