Provides urgent, emergent and routine care to prisoners and staff, when needed. Maintains licensure where applicable, including ACLS certification. Follows MDOC policies and procedures. The Paramedic is expected to exercise considerable judgment in selecting the most appropriate course of action for emergent, life threatening situations.
