Primary Responsibility
Full time faculty positions begin in August 2026 with a 30-credit hour (170-day contract per Board Policy 4.12) teaching load annually.
CMC is seeking an experienced EMS professional and dynamic educator to be the lead instructor in the Emergency Medical Technician Basic Program for the Aspen and Carbondale campuses. Primary teaching duties include EMT-B, EMT-B Refresher, and IV/IO therapy, but may expand to include Advanced EMT, Paramedic EMT Labs and/or Refreshers, and related classes. The successful candidate will work to strengthen partnerships with local employers such as hospitals, health care agencies, and the local ski areas. Lead faculty in this discipline additionally facilitate recruiting, training, and scheduling of EMT Skills Assistant staff and Adjunct faculty.
