**Job Description**

Assists the professional staff with the delivery of services to patients in a variety of settings.

Provides direct patient care, and/or one to one observation to selected patients under the supervision of a Registered Professional Nurse. Assists, escorts and transports patients.

**Qualifications**

+ Graduate from an approved Medical Assistant Program or equivalent.
+ High school diploma or equivalent required. Associate degree desirable.
+ Medical Assistant experience preferred
+ Spanish speaking preferred,
+ Ability to read, write and comprehend English.
+ American Heart Association BLS Certification
