Software Engineering Manager / Technical Lead (Embedded Systems)
**Location:** Wilmington, NC (Onsite – 5 days/week)

A growing manufacturing organization on the North Carolina coast is seeking a **hands?on Software Engineering Manager** to lead a small embedded software team. This role is best suited for someone who still enjoys being deep in the code while also guiding and mentoring engineers.

This is **not a heavily administrative management role** . Instead, it functions as a technical lead position with meaningful ownership of architecture, development, and problem?solving, paired with gradual people?leadership responsibilities.
