The position is responsible for installation, set up, testing, and adjustment of manufacturing machinery or equipment, using any combination of electrical, electronic, mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, or computer technologies, as well as maintaining, installing, and/or changing software programs and PLC ladder logic throughout the mills. This position necessitates being a catalyst in identifying areas where automation can improve the production process and offering ideas/specification for implementation; performing troubleshooting and repair of defective equipment using a combination of drawings, schematics, diagrams, and other information; and investigating equipment problems to determine root cause of system failures and providing appropriate corrective action.
