Position Overview
Summary:
With minimum supervision performs EEGs, Nerve Conduction Studies, EMGs, and related exams within the department. The EEG Tech Senior is also responsible for the physician billing for the department. Assist physicians with preliminary reports and during interpretation. Assist in other areas of the department, when available, in a friendly and helpful manner.
Responsibilities:
Meets the expectations of the applicable OneCHRISTUS Competencies: Leader of Self, Leader of Others, or Leader of Leaders. Performs Quantitative EEG, EEG, Evoked Potentials and Transcranial Doppler.Working knowledge to set up, monitor, download, and edit raw data for long-term video EEG monitoring.Performs EKGs utilizing the Marquette MAC VU, 12, 8, and PC machines.Performs electrocardiograms for in-patient and outpatient populations including all ages.Performs routine EEGs and long-term video EEG monitoring for evaluation of possible...
