POSITION TITLE: TRADESWORKER JOURNEYMAN REPORTS TO: COORDINATOR
OVER-TIME STATUS: NON-EXEMPT PAY GRADE: 114

JOB SUMMARY:
Performs responsible skilled work within maintenance, repair, modification, installation and construction of structures in buildings and facilities; does related work as required. Work is performed under regular supervision of the Maintenance Supervisor with some input or recommendations from the Master Electrician. Supervision is exercised over tradesworkers and helpers.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES:

Perform skilled maintenance, repair and construction of District buildings and equipment in one or more crafts or trades; lead other Maintenance Technicians as necessary; work independently in advanced trades such as electrical, plumbing, steam fitter, electrical motor repair, welding and engine rebuilding.
