Summary This position is located in the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA), Veterans Health Administration (VHA), at the Sepulveda and West Los Angeles Medical Center Campuses, (Engineering Service). Responsibilities The duties for this position include, but are not limited to: Working independently with responsibility for determining proper work methods and techniques to use in accomplishing assigned, scheduled and emergency tasks. Working from oral/written instructions, specifications, blueprints, wiring diagram, schematics, and sketches. Estimating material, tools, and equipment necessary for each assignment. Ordering material, tools, equipment, and services by compiling a rough draft containing information for procurement. Completing installations, modifications, and repairs, and loans and test systems, circuits, equipment, and controls with little or no check during the progress or upon completion of work.
