Responsible for the application and formulation of the Company’s Health and Safety program and ensuring all employees have an opportunity to learn elements of the safety program.
Performs safety audits.
Ensures that all employees are trained in job requirements before permanent assignment. A team of around 20 people.
Searches for new material to update training for all employees.
Ensures implementation of Company training programs and development of department’s personnel.
Informs subordinators of performance expectations.
Monitors and evaluates performance and coaches, as necessary.
Interviews, reviews qualifications, selects and recommends employment candidates.
Ensures compliance with regulations and Company policies. Ensures the usage of corrective measures/discipline on violations.
