SCOPE

The Electrical Improver will work under the supervision of qualified electricians and engineers to gain hands‑on experience across a range of electrical systems. The role combines on‑site installation, inspection and testing with planned and reactive maintenance activities, providing opportunities to progress towards full electrician status.

A Typical Week Will Include

• Onsite Work: Assisting with the installation, commissioning, testing, and inspection of electrical systems alongside experienced engineers. Look to provide the required evidence for your field work within your NVQ.
• Maintenance Work: Supporting planned and reactive maintenance activities, including fault finding, repairs, and energy efficiency improvements. The role will also involve attending static sites to gain greater exposure to electrical building services systems and further develop technical knowledge in this area.
