Ideally, to be a marine engineer MEO with at least 3000 KW of competency and to have offshore or seagoing experience, fulfilling at least STCW Standard A-III/3.
Strong experience managing projects as a project manager, project supervisor, or ship repair manager is an added benefit.
An extra benefit is having a solid history as a service engineer with knowledge of marine diesel engines, turbochargers, and marine equipment maintenance.
An extra benefit if you have strong academic credentials for postsecondary study in mechanical, aeronautical, marine, or marine technology engineering
