Job Purpose
Operate, maintain and troubleshoot the MV upto 22kv and LV electrical networks and associated protection and control equipment’s on site. Manage new projects, shift works and sub-contractors and ensure safe operations, system reliability and safety compliance.
Key Accountabilities
Organize and prepare preventive maintenance shutdown works for MV and LV equipment and systems.
Organize and prepare MV/LV system repair/ modification shutdown works.
Perform switching operations, isolation, earthing, and restoration activities as per approved standard TAQA procedures.
Monitor regularly SCADA systems and respond to alarms and system abnormalities.
Prepare requisitions for materials required for maintenance and repair.
Fault finding and repair on MV electrical/ control systems within the facility including MV Switchgear, transformer, MDB, Capacitor banks, ATS Panels, emergency lightings, VFD’s, energy monitoring systems, BMS systems and LV infrastructure.
