Job Description As an Electrical Controls Engineer, you will be responsible for designing the necessary electrical systems inside 3D printing products for military customers to ensure stable, secure, safe electrical systems adhering to industry-accepted best practices. The Electrical Controls Engineer is accountable for the technical quality of the electrical systems along with all relevant documentation. RESPONSIBILITIES • Designing and implementing system electrical features. • Select sensors and components for new engineering projects. • Creating and documenting detailed layouts, schematics, P&ID’s for manufacturing and diagnostics • Creating detailed wire harnesses and layout diagrams. • Troubleshoot and diagnose electrical systems. • Develop continuous improvement plans for electrical systems. • Document product selection criteria and test plans. • Developing electrical standards which adhere to industry best practice. • Working with the product team to track t...
