MISSION Under the authority of the English International Stream (EIS) Coordinator, the Kindergarten Teaching Assistant works alongside teachers to support the well-being, safety, and learning of young children. The assistant plays an active role in the daily life of the classroom, contributing to the preparation and smooth running of learning activities and ensuring a clean, safe, and well-organised environment. In particular, the Teaching Assistant is expected to: Support the physical, emotional, and social well-being of children throughout the day Assist teachers during learning activities, routines, and transitions Contribute to the preparation and organisation of materials needed for classroom activities Contribute to the development of inquiry based projects, including the delivery of some elements or workshops/atelier.
