EFFLUENT PLANT OPERATOR / EAST LONDON 

Qualifications and Experience:

• Grade 12


• Pure maths in matric is essential (for the mixing of chemicals) - NOT NEGOTIABLE (SEND MATRIC CERTIFICATE WITH APPLICATION)


• Relevant experience


• Energetic and motivated


• Must be able and willing to work shifts and overtime as required.


• Must be of sober habits

Your key responsibilities will be:

• Ensure the filter and meter draining water into the municipality pit is kept clean


• Daily records to be kept up to date


• Empty out effluent bin as needed


• Ensure all pumps are in good working condition


• Empty filter-press once per shift


• Cleaning of decanter machine as required
