Shifts: Days Hours (40hrs) (M-F) 8 am-4:30 pm
Description:
The Electro neurodiagnostic Technologist is responsible for performing routine and complex procedures to obtain data for use in the diagnosis of clinical disorders of the nervous system in at least one of the following modalities of Neurodiagnostic: Electroencephalography (EEG), Evoked Potentials (EP), Epilepsy Monitoring (CLTM).
Responsibilities:
Demonstrates knowledge of standard 10-20 system of electrode placement.
Prepares patient for testing by attaching monitoring devices, explains test procedures, and calibrates necessary equipment.
Performs timely records according to standard protocol with limited artifact.
Must have ability to troubleshoot malfunctions and perform minor repairs.
