Responsible for all performance improvement and education activities/programs within the entity's emergency departments. Assures department is competitive based on evidence based practice, quality outcomes & efficiency of care. Performs a leadership role and collaborates with other hospital leaders to establish and implement department policies and practices. Maintains environment of care (EOC) readiness in the department. Reports and follows-up on inquiries, equipment problems and EOC issues.
Education: Bachelor's degree in nursing required. Master's degree in nursing, education, business administration or other related area preferred.
Experience: 5 years experience in clinical emergency department role and/or leadership experience required. General experience and knowledge of the principles of learning and methods of teaching and professional nursing practice and theory required. Licenses: PA registered nu...
