Work Experience - Wildlife Friendly Lighting Design in Cornwall

Ecological Lighting Solutions is an independent lighting design practice based in the south‑west of England, specialising in wildlife‑friendly lighting design on projects all over the UK.

What You’ll be Doing:

• Introduction to lighting (general)
• Introduction to ecology (with an emphasis on bats)
• How lighting schemes are designed with ecology in mind
• Site visits (hopefully – depending on the location of the pupil and the projects at the time) – this could include initial site visits, on‑going work, commissioning, baseline surveys, bat‑surveys etc (please note these could be at night)
