Opportunity Requirements & Important Notes Attire: Attire appropriate for working outdoors in the sun -- clothing that can get dirty, long pants, closed to shoes, hats, and sunscreen. Gloves will be provided. This opportunity takes place outdoors with little or no shade so volunteers should wear sun protection such as sunscreen and a hat. Bring: Hat, sunscreen, water to drink, sunglasses, and snacks. Physical Requirements: Be comfortable walking on a dirt trail and uneven surfaces. There will be some bending and kneeling. Preferred abilities include being able to carry a bucket of water or a potted plant, and being able to use a shovel for digging. Unfortunately this opportunity is not able to make accommodations for individuals with physical limitations and the space where this project takes place is not wheelchair accessible.
