Performs electrocardiography/Echo studies an all patient populations served (neonate to mature adult). Maintains communication between technical staff, nursing units and physicians to ensure tests and reports are completed in a timely manner, may need to provide on-call coverage. Participates in Quality Assurance/Performance Improvement activities and interdisciplinary teams as appropriate.
Performs diagnostic cardiology testing in compliance with department procedure and regulatory guidelines.
Graduate of an approved Echo or Cardiovascular Program.
One (1) year experience preferred.
Board certified and board registered in cardiology vascular technology preferred.
