Job Purpose Farber Hebrew Day School/s Early Childhood Center, located in Southfield Michigan, is seeking a paraprofessional.

This position will work closely with the classroom teacher to implement educational activities that meet the social, emotional, intellectual, physical, spiritual, and creative needs of individual students, and ensure that the children are well cared for and safe.

Job Type:

• Full-time Schedule: Monday to Friday 7:45 am - 4:00 pm Duties and Responsibilities Be an active member of the classroom, playing, interacting and guiding the students.


• Be part of a rotating schedule for morning drop off and dismissal duty.  Model good behavior by showing the children how to do the task rather than telling them how to do it.
• Discuss and support the behavior policies implemented by the classroom teacher.
