The School of Anthropology & Museum Ethnography seeks to appoint a full-time, fixed-term Departmental Lecturer in Social Anthropology from 1 October 2026 to 30 September 2029. This three-year career development post is intended to support an early-career academic in developing their teaching and research profile within a vibrant and supportive academic environment.
The successful candidate will contribute to teaching, marking, and administration across the MSc/MPhil Social Anthropology and BA Archaeology & Anthropology programmes. Alongside teaching responsibilities, the postholder will pursue independent research, contribute to seminars and conferences, and develop publications and external funding applications. About You
