Job Description
- Install, fabricate, assemble, and repair duct systems in oil and gas facilities.
- Measure and cut ducts to the required size using appropriate tools and equipment.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to install ductwork according to specifications.
- Perform layout tasks and mark dimensions and reference lines on metal sheets.
- Assemble ducts by connecting the seams, joints, and other parts using appropriate sealing materials.
- Inspect ductwork for any damages, leaks, or defects and perform necessary repairs.
- Ensure proper insulation of duct systems to enhance efficiency and safety.
- Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition.
- Adhere to all safety protocols, especially while working in confined spaces or high-pressure environments typical in oil and gas projects.
