Design & Technology Teacher

Location: Tewkesbury

Start Date: January 2027 or sooner

Salary: £32,916 - £51,048 (M1 to UPS3)

This part‑time position (26 hours per week, 0.8 FTE) supports students across Key Stages 3, 4 and 5 in Engineering and DT Timbers, guiding them through the full design process while developing practical workshop skills, technical knowledge and safe working practices.

Responsibilities

Deliver engaging lessons in Design & Technology, Engineering and DT Timbers across KS3‑KS5. Support students through the entire design process, and foster creativity, innovation and technical excellence.

Qualifications

• QTS or an equivalent teaching qualification.
• Strong subject knowledge in Design & Technology, Engineering and DT Timbers.
• Experience teaching Design & Technology across KS3, KS4 and KS5.
