Structural Engineer – Station Design (Hydro One)

Salary Range: $4,102.00 - $5,860.00 / Bi-weekly

Responsibilities

• Develop structural designs for station projects and related facilities to meet concepts, layouts, and requirements.
• Collaborate with stakeholders throughout design phases, preparing sketches, instructions, and data for drawing production while providing advice and guidance.
• Examine concepts, equipment, and material tenders to verify that design intent and requirements are met, and coordinate necessary changes.
• Attend to structural design issues during field construction, including site visits to investigate problems and implement design revisions.
• Recommend the need for new or revised structural design standards and assist in their development.
