Job Description
This individual would : Apply standards and engineering fundamentals to design relocation packages for overhead and underground electric distribution facilities for a major utility company, including designing, sizing, and specifying items in accordance with distribution and NCDOT standards. Demonstrate effective verbal and written communication by collaborating with senior engineering, utility coordination teams, environmental specialists, NCDOT personnel, distribution linemen, and homeowners/customers. Execute, manage, and report on current workload requirements while prioritizing and managing 8–10 concurrent projects with the ability to shift focus as needed. Troubleshoot and resolve day-to-day issues, prepare thorough and accurate technical reports, correspondence, documentation, calculations, and sketches, and store and file all documents in compliance with ISO processes and standards.
