Position Overview
Job Responsibilities: - Install various types of doors (wood, metal, glass, sliding, etc.)
- Measure door frames and openings to ensure proper fit
- Assemble and mount door hardware (hinges, handles, locks, closers)
- Remove old doors and prepare installation areas
- Use power tools and hand tools safely
- Align, level, and secure doors properly
- Seal gaps and ensure smooth door operation
- Inspect completed installations for quality and safety
- Follow installation drawings, instructions, and building codes
- Communicate with supervisors and team members on site
- Maintain tools, equipment, and a clean work area
- Follow workplace safety procedures and regulations
- Troubleshoot and adjust doors if problems occur
