Our retail clients is looking for a Domestic Transportation Specialist to join their team. This role will require you to be onsite 5 days a week.
On a typical day, this role will involve supporting a variety of new projects, such as conducting a parcel study to explore a transition to parcel shipping and assisting with a conversion project from pre-pay to FOB, shifting from vendor-shipped to customer-shipped models. The position also includes handling smaller side projects as they arise. A significant portion of the day will be dedicated to carrier management, which involves monitoring acceptance rates and on-time delivery, reviewing dashboards to assess carrier performance, generating reports, and coordinating meetings with both carriers and leadership.
