The doctoral researcher’s main task is to prepare a doctoral thesis in the field of entrepreneurship, working under the supervision of Prof. Christian Fisch. The thesis will be cumulative (paper-based), with the goal of publishing in leading international entrepreneurship and management journals.
The doctoral researcher will work on a topic within EINT’s research areas. The preferred theme is sustainable entrepreneurship, for example, how climate change or environmental shocks affect entrepreneurial activity, the role of sustainability certifications, or impact investing and the financing of sustainable ventures. Candidates are equally welcome to propose research questions in the group’s other areas, in particular entrepreneurial finance or entrepreneurship and AI. The thesis will be quantitative-empirical, typically drawing on large-scale datasets and econometric methods, although we are open to other methodological approaches that fit the...
